With 6 years of working with troubled youths who are teen moms, the love to assist them in labor and parenting became a passion for me. My desire became not only to provide everyday life skills, but to also provide knowledge of how to become a nurturing parent while assisting them with overcoming the fear of childbirth. After majoring in Early Childhood Education and Counseling Psychology, I sensed something was still missing. I quickly realized it was my passion to help women birthing new life into the world. I had a very supportive and loving birth with my daughter in 2007. After assisting two of my closest friends with their births, the spark for wanting to provide the same type of loving birth experience for others emerged. So in September 2014, I completed Doula training through DONA. I knew that I wanted to merge my love for education, counseling, and laboring women into one! One thing I really enjoy is seeing women conquering their fears of labor through relaxing techniques, which in turn helps them to conquer other fears that they never thought they could overcome. I resides with my daughter Jaylen in Ewing, NJ, where we are still surrounded with loving and supportive family & friends. I enjoy spending time with my family and love self-care related activities.
